23 Mobile Things - Thing 23 - Evaluate 23 Mobile Things

Mobile devices are an increasing part of our digital world. Doing 23 Mobile Things was an interesting way to explore many things I can do on a mobile device, and to force me to expand my use of both my Samsung Galaxy Note 8S tablet and Moto X phone.

Apps could be self-contained, or require linking out to things online. It was a little annoying to keep having to create accounts for things, as I just wanted to try stuff out and not commit to a new digital social sphere. Other apps seem to really just replicate what I could do in a browser, and just took up space on my devices. But some that I tried were pretty neat and will probably stick around - Springpad, Highlights of the Superior Hiking Trail, Pintrest, Spotify, Duolingo, Droid of the Day, and maybe even Audiobooks.

One minor recommendation I have is on the program website, have the ability to cycle through the Things from within each thing (like arrows on the side) rather than having to go back to the list and pick the next one every time. I would totally do 23 Mobile Things again. Thank you!

  1. Congratulations!! So glad you enjoyed the program, and thanks for the feedback (I like the idea of being able to cycle through the Things, if we can make it work). Watch for your completion prize sometime in June/July!

Also, if you haven't already, don't forget to let us know when you've earned a badge (at 5, 10, 15, 20 and 23 Things completed)! Just email minn23@gmail.com with your blog name, multitype region, and how many Things you've completed. We'll add your badge to your region's blogroll and send you one you can display on your blog to share your progress.
